Information access
PAIA information.
This notice explains how to request access to records or personal information held by Virtus Group.
How to make a request
Send a written request describing the record or personal information requested, the right you seek to exercise or protect, and your preferred contact method to info@virtus-group.co.za. Virtus will assess the request under PAIA and POPIA and respond using the applicable process and timelines.
Records and personal information
Virtus may hold business enquiry records, correspondence, service records, Payhip order information, accounting and tax administration records, and supplier or director records. Personal information may include names, contact details, enquiry content, transaction details and information voluntarily supplied to Virtus.
Processing purposes may include responding to enquiries, supplying digital products, delivering agreed professional services, maintaining business records, handling complaints, and meeting legal or regulatory obligations. Third-party services such as Payhip, WhatsApp and email providers may process information when you choose to use those services.
Access and correction
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information where the law permits. You may also object to certain processing or withdraw consent where consent is the lawful basis. Marketing messages, if any, should include a practical opt-out route.
Information Regulator resources
The official PAIA guide, prescribed forms and private-body manual template are available from the Information Regulator. This page is an information-access notice and does not replace a company-specific PAIA manual.
Before treating this as a complete PAIA or ECTA disclosure, Virtus should add its registered legal name and status, registration number, physical and service addresses, telephone number, and designated Information Officer or Deputy Information Officer details.
